Prevention
Embarking on relationships without understanding risks or long-term goals can lead to challenges. Our Healthy Relationship Education (HRE) program goes beyond typical relationship advice. We empower teens to envision their future, make informed decisions, and build stable relationships. HRE covers what healthy relationships entail, setting boundaries, and the importance of waiting for sex until marriage. Currently, this program is a vital part of most schools in the Parkland area, fostering awareness and thoughtful decision-making among teens.
Intervention
Facing an unexpected pregnancy can be overwhelming, raising questions about continuity, providing a good home, and coping with societal expectations. The Center provides a safe haven where women can explore their options, ask questions, and envision a stable future with a family. Offering free services such as pregnancy tests, options education, ultrasounds, and STD testing, we reassure women that resources are available, stability is possible, and they have compassionate support. The Center becomes a guiding light for those navigating through the uncertainties of an unprepared pregnancy.
Education
Raising children presents various challenges, from first-time parenting fears to the financial strain of providing for growing kids. Our parenting classes are designed to assist and empower parents at every stage. Covering topics such as prenatal care, nutrition, healthy relationships, infant safety, and child development, these classes aim to instill accountability through participation, homework, and Bible study. Parents earn points, redeemable for baby care items, reinforcing the value of education and preparedness. Additionally, our Parent Support and Life Skills Classes cater to diverse needs, offering valuable insights and resources for parents seeking growth and improvement in various aspects of life.
